Sorry I have been bad about posting street style outfit posts lately! There is so much going on but to continue my collaboration with Collection 18’s hats, I am wearing the crochet black baseball cap. I’ve paired it with a black faux leather skater skirt, my new black Chinese Laundry booties, and my favorite oriental printed Zara bomber. I bought this bomber jackets last summer while I was visiting New York with the UTNYC program. I remember asking my friends if they liked it but they all didn’t really see what I saw. I saw a lovely cobalt blue, printed, statement piece that would go with everything and they were like, “Uhhh when are you ever going to wear that?” It was then that I realized that when I ask people if they like something before buy it and they respond negatively, I feel even more determined to buy it to show them that I can make it look cool. I want to sort of prove them wrong to show how it can be worn as a normal statement piece. So this is only one of a million outfits that I have worn this jacket in but you can see one of the other times I wore it from my time in London. Ive worn it with a black maxi dress, high waisted pants, just jeans and a white tee… So here you are friends! Just with some edgy simple pieces this jacket looks like an effortless and chic addition to my outfit. I love to play with patterns so I could just leave it with the basics, I added my 36 inch Jambo scarf to the mix to give more color and dimension to the outfit.
